Aboveground Tank Loan Program
In December, 1988, the Federal EPA changed the regulations for underground storage tanks. The new regulations outlined a ten year, phase-in program to upgrade or to close existing underground tanks. This new, stringent EPA law changed America’s fuel storage habits forever.
As a result of this law, many underground tank owners opted not to upgrade or replace their UST’s. An onslaught of UST’s were removed in the decade to follow. With UST’s on the decline, aboveground tanks became a viable, quick-fix solution for fuel storage.
Bell Fuels has responded to this market change by implementing an aboveground tank loan program for our customers.
Bell’s Tank Loan Program is predicated on a customer’s annual gallons. Systems may include:
• U.L. 142 or U.L. 2085 Double Wall Skid Tank (300 to 2,500 Gallons)
• Filrite Pumps
• Fuel Management System
• Wireless Tank Monitoring System for Product Level Inventory
• And All Other Requirements per The Office of the State Fire Marshal and Local Municipalities
